Knitted Together to be the Body of Christ

Gordon Robertson delivers a teaching on how God built the Church upon his believers and is preparing the Temple for the return of Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 6:12-13
“Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH!
From His place He shall branch out,
And He shall build the temple of the LORD;
Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD.
He shall bear the glory,
And shall sit and rule on His throne;

Matthew 16:16-19
Simon Peter answered and said,”You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah,
for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church,
and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven,
and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

1 Kings 6:7
And the temple, when it was being built,
was built with stone finished at the quarry,
so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool
was heard in the temple while it was being built.

Matt 13:33
“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven,
which a woman took and hid in
three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”

Freedom from Pornography in the Ukraine

Gordon Robertson shares about efforts in the Ukraine to help people suffering from addiction to internet pornography.

CBN’s office in the Ukraine recently launched a website aimed at helping people be set free from addiction to pornography. is a Russian language site that gives a Biblical view on sex and shares people’s testimonies. The site has recorded 400,000 visitors. Over 300 people have used the anonymous online ministry service. During one month the ads for the site were seen by more than 7.5 million internet users on more than 1,000 real pornography sites.

The Forgotten Girls of Honduras

Gordon Robertson highlights a program helping young orphan girls in Honduras who are living on the streets to elude sex slavery.

HONDURAS – Orphaned, homeless and abused by her brothers, Yvette* (name changed to protect identity) feared she would be sold as a modern day slave. So she ran away, surviving by rummaging through the dump for food and sleeping in a box.

Eventually she found help through a government institution that houses and protects girls ages 12-18. “I told them my case and I said my father was killed, my mother does not love me and I said to them I want a better life,” Yvette said.

More than 100 girls like Yvette are housed here—most placed here by the Honduran court system for protection (similar to our foster care system in the U.S.). But there are very few activities for the girls and upon leaving or aging out, many lack the education or work experience they need to secure employment.

But with your help, Operation Blessing was able to establish a cosmetology school within the institution—providing Yvette and other girls with the opportunity to learn a trade. At the school they are learning skills such as washing, cutting, drying, dying, and styling hair; manicures, pedicures, and nail designs; facials, applying make-up, waxing, and more.

Operation Blessing renovated a room at the institution by putting in flooring, electricity, salon equipment such as hair washing stations, hair cutting stations, and nail stations, along with outfitting it with professional hair styling tools. The cosmetology school has become a refuge for the girls like Yvette.

“I feel so great and I say to myself, I will keep on learning,” said Yvette.

The possibilities are now endless—these girls who were once rejected and forgotten now have a purpose and hope for a future.

What the Bible Says About Life After Death

Gordon Robertson teaches from the Bible about the phenomenon of people who claim to have died, experienced the afterlife and then returned.

Viewer Question from Loretta:

“Ecclesiastes 9:5 says that when we die we are conscious of nothing and that we are asleep in death. If this is true, how can people claim to see heaven and tell about it upon their return?”

(Ecclesiastes 9:4-5)
But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, And they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten.

(Mark 12:26-27)
“But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?’  He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living . You are therefore greatly mistaken.”

2 Corinthians 5:8
We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 12:6-7
Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed,
Or the golden bowl is broken,
Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain,
Or the wheel broken at the well.
Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
