On Michael Jackson

As I watched the memorial service today I couldn't help but think how lonely Michael Jackson must have been.  Perhaps the worst way to be lonely is when one is surrounded by people...especially people who put one on a pedestal or make them into an idol.

I don't know if Michael Jackson was guilty of the things of which he was accused and I refuse to judge him.  As his daughter spoke about what a wonderful father he was, I cried with her.  I have lost my parents and it isn't easy.  I pray that she will be able to lead a somewhat normal life.  That could be difficult when one's father is such a celebrity as Michael Jackson.

Michael was, in my opinion, the most talented entertainer ever.  It is tragic that he did not know to use his wonderful talent to bring glory to Jesus.

I don't know what was in his heart.  I do hope that he found peace in death.
