God Didn't Promise It Would Be Easy

When we became Christians, God did not promise a 100% easy life guarantee on our "contracts." He promised to be with us; to guide us, and give us salvation, but He did not promise to do everything for us. He agreed to be our Savior, Comforter, and Fortress, but He didn't say that He would make everything come easy for us. As Christians, we are teased, ridiculed, taunted, unaccepted, and appear "uncool" to some in our generation and society. But we have the satisfaction of knowing our God is the One and Only, and He sits on His throne. Some day He is coming back for us, and He is going to say, "Yes. I know them," We will have the satisfaction of eternal life free from the criticizm of others who think we are wrong. We have the Lord on our side. We need to be doing everything to educate others about Him, because when the day comes, we won't have another chance to tell others about His magesty as Lord, Savior, Salvation, and God Almighty.

God Is Holding Us

Since the dawn of time, God has held us in His hands. He made us in His own design; and He loves us. He is the God of all creation; Father before time began; and He loved us enough to give His only son. His only Son. He sent his precious, unblemished Son to die for sinners who did not deserve His mercy. He loves us limitless; and all He asks for is our love in return. How much time are we willing to give our Father? He suffered the worse pain beyond our comprehension; and in our lives we struggle to find time for Him. How much of our lives are we willing to give to Him? Resources? Everything good comes from Him. Are we willing to look beyond selfish us and see the bigger plan He has for us?
