In Memory of my granny Nellie Guthrie

she was a strong and faithful woman of GOD. her faith never wavered no matter what she was going thru. she was always praying . she taught me her oldest granddaughter that no matter what the situation is its never bigger than GOD is.... i miss being able to pick the phone up and saying granny i have a question abut the bible, can you answer it for me or tell me where its at. and my daughter did the same thing too.
granny was there for us grandkids in more ways than one tho. she took care of us as we grew up. i mean literally took care of us. she never backed down from a challenge. granny always faced them head on. she was a strong woman.
granny battled 2 bouts of cancer in her beautiful life. 1st was breast cancer, where she lost a breast and dealt w it like a champion. i dont know if i could have have. thank you granny for your courage. then she had bladder cancer believe. she had a experimental surgery where they put a sunoma puch in you that collected the urine and you had to use a catheriter to drain the urine. my granny had such courage and such strongness about her....'then my granny had to go on dialysis bc her kidneys went bad. she was on it 7 yrs. she finally became sick and i think she was ready to give up and go home to JESUS ..... i think she knew it was her time to go.
