Heard about a new study back in Dec '11 that showed 3 tablespoons a day greatly reduced stroke risk. I slip a tablespoon at a time in tea or hot milk.

I use the coconut oil from jungle products (in a blue jar). It's kinda expensive but its the first one i found and i like it. I use it mainly for my hair and body but have popped some popcorn with it - it's delicious! i cant stomach eating it straight so i try to cook with it

Please also send me the brand name(s) of coconut oil and daily dosage information. Thank you. God Bless..

Do you take it in large amounts or will the benefit be the same if taken in smaller amounts through the day?

Have been taking coconut oil (go to Tropical Traditions online) for several years. The effects have been truely amazing. My skin is clear (I use Tropical Traditions skin cream), my coordination seems good, endurance, the same. Best of all, my mind seems pretty darn good. I am 80, but no one believes it. Also, taking coconut oil banishes bladder infections. Cannot recommend this oil strongly enough. Cheapest "go-to" remedy, considering all it does. God bless you all. Liz

Thank you for airing Dr. Mary Newport's story and telling your many viewers about her book. I am privileged to know Mary & Steve and have read many of the letters from people who have read her 2008 Case Study entitled "What if there was a Cure to Alzheimer's Disease and Nobody knew. There are so very many successes from adding coconut oil to their loved one's diets. One woman began knitting again, another began speaking after going months and months without a word. I strongly recommend going to her website www.coconutketones.com. There is so much information for you there. Her book "Alzheimer's Disease: What If There Was a Cure,.."is a great way to learn as much as possible about their experiences,

I use Tropical Traditions. Just type it in your search engine. Start out with about a teaspoon a day to see how you will tolerate it and gradually increase from there. I found it to cause stomach upset when I jumped in and started taking too much too soon.

Please see my website www.coconutketones.com where you can print out a copy of "Diet guidelines" with information about how to get started. I hope this helps! Dr. Mary Newport

Can I buy the book at Wal Mart?

Thanks for your posts. Our CBN medical reporter, Lorie Johnson, suggests starting off with about 2 tablespoons a day and increase gradually to 6 tablespoons a day. It's a great idea to REPLACE ALL OILS in regular cooking and baking (just melt it in the microwave if it needs to be liquid) with the tasteless, odorless kind of coconut oil, such as LouAna, which you can purchase from the oil section of the grocery store and costs about four dollars. Please visit Dr. Newport's website and/or read her book. Both very informative and easy to understand. Dr. Newport's website: http://www.coconutketones.com/
