KKid comment kind of confused me, if I am already in heaven why and where am I being raised to? I thought the bible teaches that we stay in the grave and then when Jesus comes Then the dead in Christ will rise first....

Yes, I have had a Near Death Experience on Sept., 28, 2000 delivering my Twins 6 weeks early. I was told that I was having Congestive Heart Failure and Dying! It was gut-wrenching, torturous, and life altering for sure.... While in the Triage room being Coded over the speaker w/ 2 babies inside me moving less and less, I began constant Prayer; I at some point noticed that everyone in the room disappeared and I was in warmth after being cold! Then, I noticed a white fog/cloud/or non-wet mist swirling around me~ it was very kind, I stop feeling fear, relaxed and knew it was God! I can tell much more if wanted.... mehappyheart@yahoo.com

If a person has been saved by Jesus and commits suicide, that person goes to heaven straight to Jesus, NOT to hell.
The unforgivable sin is turning away from God and the Holy Spirit and not accepting salvation--that's the only thing that sentences a soul to hell. Thanks be to God for his Son Jesus who saves us!

i believe in heaven.but am not sure we humans know what heaven is like,even though some people have been there and back,i do not think they can explain accurately in words their experience.

If a person is saved, he or she will go to Heaven. If a person commits suicide, he or she is committing the sin of murder and even though it does not please God at all, it will not cause he or she to lose their salvation.
The way a person is saved is that they realize that they are a sinner; "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Then they realize that the penalty for sin is death and spending eternity in hell; "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". (Romans 6:23). Then, the person needs to realize the good news that God gave us the gift of a savior so that we can be forgiven of their sins, be saved from hell, and go to heaven; "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:16-17). Then Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved". If a person does this then they are saved and going to heaven to spend eternity after they die no matter what their cause of death is. Through reading the Bible and praying, God will help you understand His word. He helps me understand more and more everyday! In response to the first post of Jackie Cox about anyone gone to heaven and back?
In the late 1980's I was experiencing the loss of blood which I thought was normal for a woman during her monthly time. This went on for maybe three days with extreme out of the ordinary situation but realize one early evening, knowing that I would die that evening but do not know why I knew. I remember going to my parents room, and wanted to say good bye to them as I felt very weak now but found myself unable to do so as they greeted me with smiling faces. After seconds I went to a guest room to tell a loved one, that I was grateful for them being kind to me, and told them I was going to go to bed because I was tired and left. As soon as I was to lay down knowing this would be my last time there with my family, I came into instant realization that my fate was dependent to a repentive heart where I knew I was not right with the Lord. I made a confession not wanting to end up in the wrong place and asked God to forgive me for my sins because I desired to be with Him. Imediately, as my head touched the pillow, my body started to vibrate in such speed as if I was being suck into some direction going up. I was speeding off out of my body and realized that an angel was carrying me as I rested in their arms as if I were a child who feel asleep and my dad was carrying me to bed (description of what I realize and saw). We speeded into the atmosphere but while going up I turned my head to look to the side and I saw like a movie in the same speed, I saw my childhood and a fence of where I grew up that I use to walk by and play around as a child. Then the movie started to fade and I looked straight ahead as the angel carried me. We past the heavens and I was in a tunnel and far off I could see a beam of light. I was excited and it grew larger and just when I was thinking I was going to enter heaven, I heard impressed in me, "It's not your time" and with even greater speed, my spirit fell into my body and my body sprung up in a sitting position. I don't know how long it traveled but it was early evening and I woke into my body bright and early in the morning. I got out of bed and struggled to get to my parents. Our dogs started to howl and cry and I passed out hitting my head on the edge of my parents night table. Went to Emergency room, don't remember well, but the doctors could not figure out what happen as they found no trace of blood. I do know that I was very sad,as I did not want to come back, but the Lord had plans that are still unfolding in my life. I love the Lord and want others to know that at the point of dying, for me, it was so instant I did not become afraid, I just felt a release in my assurance that Jesus was and is there for me and everyone, death is the last thing the Lord conquers for us. Jesus thank you for saving me and sheding your blood on the cross to die for my sins. It has been since 1975 that I received you as my Lord and Saviour. You know exactly where I am and all circumstances. What is puny man? You are worhty of praises foreever! Satan you are a liar and murderer and there is no TRUTH in you. You try to steal and make me doubt I am saved - like I can lose my salvation. NOT! For by grace am I saved thru faith - not of works lest any man should boast. When I get to heaven I have so many questions to ask you about the universe you created with the moon, planets, sun, stars, galaxies, comets, black holes, quasars, and many other things which fascinate me! **** I love you Jesus - thanks for dying for me to give me eternal life thru you! dear pat i always thought that if a person commits suicide they automatically go to hell because i feel that is murder to yourself and a person in my church said that is not biblical and claims that if the person is saved prior to the suicide they go to heaven. i'm confused. so as long as a person is saved and they commit suicide do they go to heaven or hell?

My mother-in-law had a stroke a few years ago and is still in a vegetative state. Her heart has stopped twice, and although she is still alive, her brain has limited function, and it appears as if she is "gone". Do any scriptures touch on the topic of where the soul is, in a situation like her's?
