A little sad....

This is the day....

Wow, the cold up here is nippy....I was very sad Sunday morning seeing the church almost empty, the reason....It was Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.

While worshiping I saw why I am on a misson here.....I NEED YOUR PRAYERS...

I am going to meet with local Pastors and find out their mission budget...I was thinking on starting with a mass mailing of the Gospel of John and a letter from the local Pastor introducing their church.

Now, you have to remember it is French speaking in this area complicating the purchase of material like books (much more expansive).

I know most of you are always asked for $$$ but if you would just spare a dollar it would not affect your budget and it would make quite a change in someones life.

Remember the day you made the decision to follow Christ...This is what we are wanting to do here in Québec,Canada and we need all the help we can get.

Just log on to my blog at www.guymartin.org and look for the donation page on the top left.

You can use paypal and regular snail mail.  Or just send me an email for more information.

Remember, even a dollar can and will make a difference.

May God bless you all.

I need your advice...

Dear friends, as you know I am established in Lévis, Quebec,Canada now and have been here for close to 3 years now.

The reason for this journal entry is a demand for your idea...we have a blog at www.guymartin.org and we are getting ready to start podcasting in French and English on this blog and this is where it gets a little complicated, I need your advice....My support mainly comes from out of Province and US so the support comes from the English community BUT, there's lots of browsers and readers from the French comunity....Now my dilema is and if you go and visit the blog the latest entry is one sentence in each language and I am not sure it is the best way to do this...I am sure some of you are dealing with bilinguism ex.:spanish and English....How do you deal with it?

I have been dealing with this for almost 3 years now....

Your input would be highly appreciated.

God Bless

Awesome, the entire church came to the Altar call, no one was left behind.

The church I am talking about has been so bounded...This was the first Altar call in 18 months.

Thank you Lord, to you be all the Glory.

Hi friends, Please take time to pray for us on a mission here in Quebec, Canada.

The people here are carrying a lot of hurt from abuse in the catholic church and almost everyday we hear of a priest, bishop been accused of rape, porn, sexual abuse, and I am not talking about the Enfants de Duplessis, if you have a chance just Google the subject.

I was raised in quebec and moved to USA for many years and was at Brownsville A.G. in Pensacola FL.

3 Years ago God wanted me back here...No problem Lord...I moved back.  To my amazement nothing had changed over the years, Christianity is at a stand still.

My years in the USA allowed me to go to a great Bible school and meet lot of GREAT folks....

Today I feel like John on the Island of Patmos...The isolated part, away from other ON FIRE CHRISTIAN...Thank You Jesus for the internet and places like here.

Please pray for me and my Ministry.

Be Blessed.
