In Memory of Jacob Gigl
Ever since CBN started n 1960, Jack Gigl was an enthusiastic supporter. One year, the Gigls were invited to a fundraising dinner where they were asked for a commitment of $10,000. Since Jack was only making about $25,000 per year, Sharon was horrified to see Jack make the pledge. She asked, “Jack, what are you doing?” He said, “Did God tell you no?” Sharon reluctantly said no, and the Gigls became 700 Club founding members. Jack watched the program every day for the rest of his life. One of the highlights of his life was travelling to Israel with Pat Robertson and Ben Kinchlow.
