The CBN World Reach office in CIS (The Commonwealth of Independent States) is located in Kiev, Ukraine, and serves as the headquarters for eleven former Soviet Republics: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and in addition works in Turkmenistan, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. CBN WorldReach’s ministry to the region has offices also in Moscow, Russia, and Almaty, Kazakhstan. Operations are conducted under CBN’s foundation "Association Emmanuel."

In half of these countries, Islam is the primary religion.
