I've been a type 2 diabetic since about 2004 and I was told that I would be insulin dependent for the rest of my life. I've gained a lot of weight since than but don't know how to lose it. Right on hermana mia! I've been working on getting away from diabetes for more than a year. I refuse to believe that I have to be saddled with a lot of medications.

This is awesome. My blessed husband was just doagnosed with type 2 diabetes and we have done a total turn around from the way we were eating. The special on 700 Club with Dr. Hyman is a breath of frsh air to my husband who was told by the doctor that he was going to be a diabetic for life.
