How does the brine recipe compare to the fried turkey. All southerner's seem to like fried and it is very moist. Let's see fried vs salt. I think I will try the brine.

The botton shows to click to download, but what actually happens is a window pops up and asks if you want to open it or save the file. If you click open, you can print it then without saving it.

Thank you for sharing your family recipes. I have a dilemna that I hope you can help me with. I'm hosting about 25 for this Thanksgiving holiday, but I am limited on oven space. I'm wondering if I can perhaps cook a smaller turkey in a crock pot that could supplement my oven roasted turkey and be just as delicious. Is your recipe adaptable for crock pot cooking? Any other suggestions?

I finally got the full recipe favorites from Gordon & Kathrine, Log in, then find the recipes you want and click on the log in/download bar; click on name line that the pointing finger appears; pop up box will appear and ask if you want to open-download,etc.; click open, then on the top ribbon or menu click save into a file you can remember, or print it out. VERY NICELY DONE AND SO THANKFUL FOR GETTING ALL THESE RECIPES AND CBN/OPERATION BLESSING.

For those having difficulty viewing the PDF downloads using the Mac Safari browser, download Firefox and you'll be OK. CBN's website is apparently not completely Safari compatible.
