It is a good article...after he got serious with the Lord and with his life, he was WORKING at the publishing company when he bought it. It sounds like the years of debt were, if not behind him, nearly so. Re-read it and you will see that these criticisms were unmerited.

This article was written by one more shameless leech who benefits from unkept promises, making the poor poorer. Shame on CBN for allowing this type of blatant attempt to profit at the expense of those who truly need help learning about their financial situation. ANYONE who has the assets necessary to "acquire" a publishing company doesn't know what debt is. Period.

This article really wasn't helpful. First, HOW did he purchase I believe it was a publishing company when he was having bill collectors hounding him? Next, how do you deal with finances when your work is varried. I work as subsitute school teacher and don't have a steady income to depend on. I might work one day one week and five the next. These people make it sound so easy but curcumstances vary. You say, get a full time permanent job. OK where at age 62 do I find a full time job. Who is willing to hire me. And with the job market, I am at the bottem of the totem pole.
