I hope we all can find solace in each other and God,I know he loves me even when it feels like he is nowhere near.I just have to keep reminding myself its part of being human and satan trying to cause discord.

I started a crusade of prayer, fasting, reflecting on Bible passages, going often to church, and I also focused on changing my heart and be a better Christian.

Yes I lost my husband nine months ago. I never knew what loneliness felt like till then we got married at a young age and we would have been married 49 years like in 2 months.I go to church and I try to stay active and I love my church family. But it's hard to explain to them how lonely I am.My....family I have two sons and two grandsons but there hurting and you know it's hard to help someone that is hurting if you're hurting yourself. Because a sick person can t take care of another sick person. So I ask you to pray for me and my love ones.I love your show and I watch it all the time and I'm also a partner and I thank God for you and all the members and I'm so proud to be called a member of the 700 club.

I was lonely and I was afraid that I remain alone. I started a crusade of prayer, fasting, reflecting on Bible passages, going often to church, and I also focused on changing my heart and be a better Christian.
The miracle happened: I met a wonderful man in a miraculous way. We are together and plan to tie our lives for life. There is hope! Jesus is the same as 2000 years ago, He never refused anybody.

I deal with loneliness almost every day since last year when my mom developed early dementia and moved to a nursing home and now living with my one brother and his family.I am disabled and living on SSI and need help going places since I have no car my two brothers do not help much and they are not there for me emotionally.I struggle with depression and feeling suicidal most days,I do have a wonderful Aunt that helps me at times when she is off of work god bless her,but I live in constant loneliness, my best friend lives a state away and its hard to find friends these days.I have felt loneliness when around my brothers since they don't connect well with me.It is a struggle that we all deal with.I hope we all can find solace in each other and God,I know he loves me even when it feels like he is nowhere near.I just have to keep reminding myself its part of being human and satan trying to cause discord.

My parents FORCED me to choose between my husband and them. I did as God tells us and chose my husband, although my marriage is terrible. I know God sees and hears all but He is so silent..... Please pray for me.

In my humble opinion...I think a SMILE is a great way to show people that you are friendly. I know in the bible it says to have a friend we need to be friendly.I too have suffered from loneliness. I think everybody does at some point in their lives.what I do now is lean on Jesus Christ and ask my Heavenly Father to just pour out His love on me so that I feel cared for. My best friend is Jesus!

There is no cure for loneliness. And I don't believe for a moment that God cares. I've fought this all my life. God is the biggest disappointment there is in this life.

I feel more alone in my marriage than I did when I was single. We have been married for 10 yrs, we have had no intimacy for at LEAST 5 yrs. We have talked about this SO MANY times... my needs vs his needs. I told him before we wed what my physical / emotional needs are. He just doesn't seem to care. He is 61 and I am 57. I have prayed and continue to pray to God to help me with this....as I know He will not leave me nor forsake me.... and I try very hard to just focus on Him and what I need to do for His Sake, but even when I see a movie / commercial that shows a loving couple, I cry. Please pray for us. Thank you.

I listened to Elizabeth Eliot on the radio in the 90's and she would talk about the need of older women (upper 40's and up) to mentor younger women. I wonder if that is not what is missing in our Christian culture today - think of how it would ease so much lonliness in our wise and experienced baby boomer generation to be able to help those in their 20's-early 40's as they struggle with so many things that we have been through and could help them with. Someone needs to start this ministry and get it going like the men's movement in the 80's.

I too was grateful to hear the segment on loneliness. It was good to see captured within the scope of God's Word. I've lived alone for some time now and loneliness almost looms over me like a heavy cloud. I try to get out as much as I can but it's not always possible. The "cloud" seems heavier during the early morning hours when I can't sleep. It's not bad all the time but there are those times when I miss "holding" and being held. My tear ducts are set on high simmer and feel like they over flow at just about any time. One big problem is that crying doesn't rank up there with "Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens". So I avoid it as much as possible.

I have suffered from fear of loneliness since being a young girl. Because of that I have settled for less and have never enjoyed a positive loving relationships. I feel blessed to have heard this segment on loneliness with Kristi. The Bible says in Timothy that perfect love casteth out fear. I believe that also means casting out loneliness. Thank you CBN 700 club for what you do in spreading God's word.

I was so greatful to hear your your segment about loneliness, I hope that you will provide more on this subject. I have been alone for 20+ years now and I find that it is getting harder to bear every year. I have prayed that God would ease my loneliness but so far I am still alone and now that our daughter is grown and has move away I find myself even lonelier.
