Naphtali, my prayers are with you to find the right woman, the one that God intended for you. Eve was made out of one of Adam’s ribs, and so they started out as one flesh and reunited as husband and wife. God created them to be companions, but sin came between them, as you may know. Fortunately, the savior reconciled us to God, and to one another. There is a return to Eden promised to us in the Bible. Some who are going to Heaven would be married, some would not for different reasons, but you are going to be married. So am I, and I have already claimed him. I claimed him by name, “Paul” a long time ago, and he was apart from me for so long. He was created by God especially for me, made from the same flesh, and yet sin separated us. I think of Jesus more as a son of mine, personally, than as a brother, or even as a husband, to tell you the truth, and I think I always will. If you are supposed to be married, then you just know it. Jesus is the bridegroom of the church, and not to betray him, but he should always be more important to us than our spouse, right? I think that Christians who are youths often think of him as either their brother or their husband. Anyway, Jesus was pierced in the side on the cross I think because he was separated from his bride, the church, by sin and death, and that was hard. That’s how bad it feels for you to be separated from your bride right now, but I pray for you as well to be reunited with her soon. Amen.
