Revelations 9, 11 They have a King ruling over them, who is the angel in charge of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon; in Greek the name is Apolloyon ( meaning "The Destroyer")

The Thousand Years

20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

My children, the end is near! You were told the Enemy of Christ would come; and now many enemies of Christ have already appeared, and so we know That the End is near.

2 Peter 3,8

But do not forget one thing, my dear friends! There is no difference in the Lord's sight between one day and a thousand years; to HIM the two are the same.

False Prophets appeared in the past among the people, and in the same way false teachers will appear among you. They will bring in destructive untrue doctrines, and will deny the Master who redeemed them, and so they will bring upon themselves sudden destruction. Even so, many will follow their immoral ways; and because of what they do, others will speak evil of the way of the TRUTH. In their greed these false teachers will make a profit out of telling you made up stories. For a long time now their Judge has been ready, and their Destroyer has been wide awake!

2 Esdras 9, 3-5 Signs of the end- There will be earthquakes, National Rebellions, international intrigues, unstable leaders and confused rulers, When you see these things happening, you will know they are what the God most High has spoken of since the beginning of creation. -The beginning and the end-

7 Some people will escape destruction and be saved by their good works or by their Faith. All of them will survive the dangers I have described and will enjoy the salvation provided in the land that I have set apart from eternity as my own.

9 Then those who have ignored my ways and held them in contempt will be suprised when they find themselves in continual torment. This will include all those who ignored me while they were alive, even though they accepted the blessings I gave them. It will include all those who scorned my law during the time they were free to do so and for all those who refused to repent when they had a chance. The torment they will have to suffer after death will force them to recognize the TRUTH.

Blessed is he

15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.
