If you want God to bless you out of your socks, start worshipping Him in your bedroom by yourself.Sure, God is pleased when you worship Him in church, but those chorues you sing before a service are to train you to worship. They're not going to get the job done. God is pleased with it, but you're going to have to come to a place that you decide you're going to have to come to a place that you decide you're going to have a relationship with God yourself, just you and Him. You can't live on your mother's relationship, your pastor's your daddy. You have to have a relationship with God yourself, and you're never have a relationship that is worth much to you unless you learn to put first things first. Matt, 6:33 [put on a worship cd in your worship time if you can].
You are misunderstanding the point I didnt say it didnt get the job done I said try it alone I do it alone it's much better plus I do it in church have a nice day!

I finally found a church that I look forward to going to. My Sunday's are not complete now that I got myself back to church. It is also about being with other christian people that have the same beliefs. I have to agree with Tracey on this one. Sorry!

Father God does love for us to be alone with just Him-praying for others-singing-listening to christian music,so I get what you are saying. After all-Jesus would go off to be alone with God. This does not take away from going to church. Alot of people go to church--but do they actually have a relationship with God? I believe God's will was just commenting that being alone with God is a good thing!!

You are very welcome sister! May God continue to bless all of us on this site lifting others up in prayer. There are so many hurting souls that need prayer warriors to storm heaven for their needs.After all we are all sinners and need God's mercy. back in high school i always attend theservice not missing any sundays..but i realized that not at all times,some people who were actually there doesnt really establish connection with our Lord Jesus Christ.
since the day that i became a member of CBN i begun to pray and to read the scriptures while reflecting.....My prayers arent answered yet, but the fact that i know that i established connection and faith with god it really boosted something inside of me that i cant really explain...I still do weep for my problems, i still think about my worries, im still human..But I know iam not alone..

Wow that sounds a big judgmental. How can you say worshipping in church "won't get the job done"? You should have been in our service on Sunday.
Worship is not just about singing, it's a lifestyle. I hope you understand that.
