Homegoing
To Mother, It is six months now since you passed away I thank God that today I can cry I say good morning, Mom, everyday Love, Marjorie
And believe me, Mom, I miss you every day
I’m thankful for ALL you did for me
Bearing me life, and your leading of life to eternity
Today is the first that tears have really come
They run down my face and I breathe a sigh
But I know you are happy with God and His Son
As I speak to your picture there by my bed
You were sitting on the bed, looks like the edge it seems
But the smile on your face fills ALL our dreams.
