Homegoing

My mother was an extraordinary woman of God. Though no family of her own, she raised four babies after burying a 16 month old child and her 38 year old husband. Life was a series of heartaches, trails, and sacrifices, yet with God, mom provided all our needs. Charlotte always loved God and I led her to a commitment. We were water baptized together. At age 92, on her death bed, I watched as she witnessed to an aid. Her favorite saying – “Not my will, but thy will be done.” I love and miss you.
