A word of caution: Satan will fight against and hinder healing everywhere he can since it is a sign of his impending defeat. When you decide to go out in faith, be prepared to face self-doubts, charges, worries, and numerous discouragements, just like when you share the gospel. Before we have a breakthrough, we frequently have to persevere through a difficult period.

How should we enact healing prayer? There are a few models in the Bible, but no formulas. Basically, pray. Faith-based prayer is what heals the sick (James 5:15). Elders praying for the sick is one of the most obvious scriptural commands (James 5:14). Although prayer for healing is not the exclusive purview of elders (1 Corinthians 12:8&ndash.9), it is unquestionably a component of your ministry calling if you are an elder.

God wants to make the world aware of his already-not-yet kingdom and promote the common good of the Christians through healing.

Prayers for healing shouldn't be overly theatrical. Jesus made an effort to limit the theatrics around his healings. He did not want people to mistake the miraculous trees for the gospel forest. Satan is the flashy performer. Beware of fake healing anywhere it is being marketed for publicity.

When God does grant healing requests, enthusiastically share the experiences with believers and non-believers as God provides the opportunity. God wants to heal people for the benefit of all the saints and to announce his already-but-not-yet-established kingdom to the world.
