Having Strength in the Lord can be an important part of your life. It can help you to keep going when things get tough. It can help you to stay focused on the right things, and it can help you to be a better Christian.

Pharaoh's army drowned

Despite the popular media's depiction of Pharaoh's army drowning in the Red Sea, the Bible actually gives credit to the Lord. God's actions during the Exodus were no small feat. God's use of the cloud and fire in conjunction with wind and water to protect the Israelites was a marvel.

The Egyptian army was no match for the God of the Bible. In the mighty waters of the Red Sea, Pharaoh's chariots and captains sank like lead.

The Bible doesn't give us much detail about what happened. The Holy Spirit has withheld some important details for centuries. The Song of Moses mentions Pharaoh's army, but it does not mention the exact incident. It is possible that some of Pharaoh's officers survived, but the Bible doesn't mention the exact number.

The Egyptians were in rebellion against God. They were ignoring his signs and warnings. God had to wage war against them in order to free Israel. He had to use the sea to turn back the Egyptian army.

David's men were upset

During the time of the Amalekite invasion, David found strength in the Lord. He understood that the best way to deal with disasters was through a personal relationship with God.

David's men were not the only ones to be upset. The wicked and worthless men were also protesting against David's actions.

The Amplified Bible states that the best and most obvious way to encourage yourself is to look to the Lord. In the Hebrew Bible, the word "LORD" is translated into the Hebrew word "YHWH".

The Hebrew word "YHWH" is a covenant name, which means that it is the holy name of God. The "LORD" is actually a word for "the LORD". It is the best possible explanation for why David needed to have a personal relationship with God.

The "LORD" also referred to the fact that David was anointed to be king of Israel by God's prophet. David was also able to return home on occasion.

King Saul's fear

Among the many important things that a king must do is to learn to fear the Lord. It is not surprising that a king who fears God will do the Lord's commands and will live long in the kingdom. But it is important to remember that the king must also be willing to obey the law.

There are four signs that a king fears the Lord. The first sign is to be willing to obey the law. The second sign is to be able to love other people. The third sign is to be willing to do the Lord's commands. The fourth sign is to be able to walk in the word of the Lord.

The king who fears the Lord will love God's commands, and will not lift his heart above his brothers. King Saul did not learn to fear the Lord, and his heart was never lifted above his brothers.

A king must keep a copy of the law of the Lord and read it on a daily basis. He must also obey the commandments of the Lord and seek the counsel of God. Saul refused to obey God's commandments and refused to repent.

Humility is crucial in the life of a believer

Getting humility wrong can have eternal consequences. In the Bible, there are many examples of people who were humble. But the ultimate standard is Jesus. He taught true humility. He was humble and obedient to the Father. He taught that if you want to be part of the kingdom of heaven, you should be humble.

The book of Philippians 4:12-13 presents a theme of humility. Humility is defined as taking limitations seriously. It is when we realize our limitations, but do everything we can to get rid of them.

The Greek word for humble is humus, which means soil. This translates as "poverty of spirit." Biblical humility is when we are aware of our spiritual bankruptcy. It is when we mourn over our sins, but are dependent on the mercy of God. We receive His grace to overcome them.

The Old Testament and New Testament link humility to salvation. Biblical humility is not only a requirement for salvation, but also a virtue.
